You can not delete your notifications.
The Facebook notifications on the iPhone will disappear after one clicks on them. This is the only way to get rid of them once they are delivered. To stop receiving notifications, one can log into Facebook and change the settings in "Mobile" under the "Settings" menu.

im guessing that you mean the notifications sent to your email in which case you go to account settings, notifications and it should say something like 'facebook will send you notifications when...' and un-tick all the boxes underneath. remember there is two pages of boxes
Use Snaptu to get notifications. Notifications are not supported on the build in facebook app.
If you click on your notifications icon in the top left side of the page, you should see "see all notifications" as an option at the bottom. Click on it and you will come to a page with all your notifications. You can then delete the ones you want using the x that appears when you hover your curser on the right.
Facebook should not have offers popping up on the screen. If this is happening updating the application may be useful.
Muting a conversation will keep chat tabs from popping up on your Facebook page and will also turn off push notifications on your mobile as well. In short, you won't get any alerts or notifications whenever a new reply is written.
You can opt out of Facebook email notifications by going to Account>Account Settings>Notifications and unchecking everything.
