Well, when you buy a yo-yo there's always designs or images on it.

But customizing a yo-yo can be different.You know how the yo-yo has a string you can take it out and put another pattern thread in it.That's 1 tip!^___^

Add a bearing to it if its responsive and sleeps like a duncan butterfly (about 4-7 seconds).

You may also add aluminum weight rings to it to make it heavier and sleep longer but it requires opening the yoyo and taking it apart(which is almost impossible with the duncan butterfly). They are also bought online. Some people choose to completely break apart the yoyo and use tools like drills and axles to make an extremely crazy creation!
