Simple: Grasp the stock just behind or in front of the trigger in your hand and with the other hand grab the barrel out toward the sight. With a quick yank pull down on the barrel (Like you are trying to bend it) You will feel it break free and swing down. Pull the barrel all the way down until you feel the action click twice. This cocks the mechanism. Load the barrel opening with one pellet (Nose forward). Pivot the barrel back up into position and you will feel it lock into it's original position.
You are now loaded.

Do not use any oils on the barrel like 3-n-1. just use Air gun oils like the ones from RWS or Crosman. Wipe the rifle down with a clean rag with a few drops of air gun approved oil. Lubricate the joints with a few drops of Crosman or RWS oil. Clean the rifle about every 1000 shots or sooner if necessary.
