Mix 1/4 teaspoon of natural sea salt with 1 cup of warm water. Soak your ear in that. If its you lobe, you can just hold the cup under the area but it might be more difficult for another area. You can use gauze or a paper towel to soak up the water and then hold it on the piercing. You can use cotton balls but they tend to fall apart so that can be a pain. Do the soak for 5-10 minutes about twice a day. If it gets drying, then just do it once and then do a plain warm water soak otherwise.

If you use soap, use something anti-microbial and super gentle (not dial) at most once a day. Soap can be super drying so thats why most recommend the sea salt soak.

Don't ever use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. I also dont recommend any piercing cleaning solutions. They can get expensive and arent entirely necessary. A lot of them contain chemicals that just cause more problems.

Hope this helps :)
