Well, its never really bad to start something off with a white lie, (for example you are "doing a survey" that's the lie) on the different percentages of first letter in names or favorite color sit across from your crush at lunch/breakfast and pretend you are in a rush .. ask them the question based on your "survey" then comment on his answer..also make him sign the paper ( you might be able to comment on his handwriting..EX. "You have nice handwriting for a boy.") make a conversation then linger a little while..tell him your name and make sure he is interested if not move on and try another technique later like talking to him (let one of your friends that is his friend start the conversation but make sure after she does try to lead.) Its easier when you don't have to start it. Make conversation until you are friends.
