You are second-guessing what this young woman is thinking. The best thing to do is ask her out and slowly get to know each other. Sometimes the people we think are our friends aren't. Your friend (he may not be) but he could have said things to discourage this relationship or told her a little too much about you. Stop telling your friend about this girl! Take a deep breath and go ask her out. If she's a good person and she is interested in you then she'll get to see you with her own eyes what type of person you are. Good luck Marcy
