This is not natively possible as of May 19, 2009. There are currently 2 iPhone apps - Air Contacts and Export Contacts that can do this. You can get a texting app on the iTunes store. you can't? its an iPod not a phone. [EDIT] actually ou can if you live in the states you can download textfree which alowes you to text, if not then get the aim application and add you buddy ,but put there screen name as there cell number then nickname so you know who it is and before the number put the country code example Canada's and the states is +1 i thik austria is like +43, or you could always Jailbreak it and get the sms app off the iPhone on to your iPod touch, or jailbreak the mail app . if you get the mail app , open it up and put to <friends mobile numbaa>@teleflip.com if thisdoesn work search up for on Google mobile carriers text extension and find out what it would be example you wanna text your friend and teleflip and working and he is on a telus plan it would look like this i think(doing this off of head) <friends mobile number>@msg.telus.ca. hope this hellllps.

Add *67 before the number you are sending it to and they will not be able to tell it was you from their phone. there is a service called Send A Wake Up Call which allows you to send anonymous messages to anyone about anything, I'll add the link
Sure there is! It is an app called Text+ (plus) and you can type in a phone number and send a FREE no catches text message to them! I have this, myself, it really works!A good app for this is the TextPlus app, which is available in the App Store.

For the iPod Touch 4: If the ipod touch's owner has the iphone owner's number, they can add it to 'contacts' and press 'facetime' and it should work. If the iphone owner has the ipod touch owner's email address, they can add it into 'contacts' and press 'facetime' and it should work.
Dear Dummy, They Text You Or You Go To Contacts And Add Contact Sincerely, Captain obvious
You just add the email address to your contacts, then go and send them a text.
To add an email account to your iPod Touch or iPhone, go to the Settings app. Then, go to:Mail, Contacts, Calendars.Add Account. You will then be able to add an email account to the device.
if your reffering to your ipod touch or ipad etc. and if it is acociated with apple you should be able to have a contacts app on your device in so you should be able to add contacts to do so find a + symbol when ur in the contacts app
with android phones, you first must link your operating system to an active google account. then you import your contacts into the contacts of your google account, then after a few hours, your contacts will then show up on your phone. hope this helps.
You go to setting and go to mail, calendar, contacts and click on new account and add the information!
There is really no app that COMES with the iPad where you can save contacts, but you can probably buy one at the app store on the iPad for free!HOPE THIS HELPS!!In that case, you may user iPad to Computer Transfer to transfer contacts from iPad to computer and then you can sync them to your husband's iPad with iTunes.
