there is a tab in front of the trigger guard, press it in and your action should release. if that's not what you're trying to do, there are two ejector clips inside the receiver that are embedded inside a rail. one on either side, first you depress the one on the right and then you should get the action foreward about an eighth of an inch, and then depress the one on the left the action should slide right out. if you are looking to unlock the trigger lock, it will take the special green key sold with the firearm, but you can find them at most gunsmithing outlets. need more info about the 870... cause i got quite a bit. adamleclair_ at hotmail
