What is normal,nobodies perfect. Normal is percieved as different by everyone. My son was very quiet and shy at 12. His cousin who is the same age was always in trouble for disrupting class and not doing as he was told. Most 12 year olds and older boys still get into trouble for silly things like playing tricks on parents and siblings. They tend to know when they have to do homework to sit and do it. I would expect a 12 year old to have a rough idea of right and wrong and to help you around the house. If you have any worries you can talk to teachers at school or a Dr or health care worker. Don't sit and worry all children develope differentlly.
