The slaves had to do anything they were told and if they acted contrary to the will of the master/mistress,or if they spoke to the master or mistress they will be tourtured and beaten or punished and killed.

However,if they tried to escape or stand up to their masters,they will have been hanged.

their bigtoes were cut off to stop them from escaping or running away.

They suffered from living in their own faeces, and swimming in a years worth of urine, they had bread thrown to them through a hatch, they where forced to row the boats, if they didnt, BANG to the head snm!
