LEGO Started when a carpenter was working one day and when he was making something chips of wood started flying everywhere, and then he decided to make a toy that you could build things with! At first he made the normal shapes (e.g. square,rectangle) and then the company grew wider and wider. Then the LEGO factory burnt down and then LEGO decided to switch to plastic instead of wood.
And nowadays LEGO is very very popular.
