because this is a search engine Uh..no, this is a question and answer site. It is NOT a search engine.
In experience is a word meaning lack of experience. English homework does come in handy to answer questions on wiki answers but not needed!
they come up with a hypothesis
The objective of the search engines is to provide relevant results. Their aim is to show pages that provide authoritative content relative to what people are looking for. Search engines are not always successful in this regard. They are of course getting smarter now that AI is in the mix. There are well over 200 ranking factors that a website is evaluated against. Much like a bell curve, those that come closest are more optimized for the query. Although content matters greatly, it goes well beyond this. There are major Google Core Update changes.
Generally speaking, as a safe answer, it is because of the scientific method. This method requires you to construct a hypothesis, test this hypothesis by experiment and data to reach a conclusion that can be tested (to the same results) by others. For example: this method can prove that gravity is constant field without reliance on mass - but it cannot be explained how this field reacts to other fields (unified field theory). This method also requires that there is an answer. Some questions such as what is the best beer, prettiest woman, true love, true religion etc. are more opinion than fact with no "right" answer.
research come from the word rechercher a french word meaning to search tightly
I think wiki answers will show up in search results. I tried searching "increase bass in samsung E250" and wiki answers showed up in the top. So it's clear that search engines are picking up wiki answers too (Probably not much as yahoo answers). It's for sure that search engine bots are crawling wiki answers too. More:- Definitely the search engines are picking pages form wiki answers. They come up throurgh answers.com. Yahoo may be giving preference to its own yahoo answers but google does honor answer.com results. The questions and answers get indexed very fast on google that we post on wiki answers. You will especially get a wiki answer result if you search for a question rather than a statement.
People would have to search a wide variety of places. I like finding questions and answers in one place.
No. The answers to questions are not programmed; the answers come from people that want to give their time to give the answers to questions.
results come from the Yahoo Directory
Real answers comes from losers like nerds and these super weird but fun answers come from pros like me. LOL
Because they should. Answers to many basic questions are here and come up in search results. Also every source is a tool you can use. This is just another one.
Your predecessors asked questions.
If you want fast answers, you should try using a search engine and go to a math website - if you don't mind waiting, you can post the questions here and someone will come along who can do the work and show you.
To answer questions. - Or ask them or find and answers to already asked questions, personally, I come here if I feel bored or need to pass time ;-)
Anyone (except blocked users) can come and ask questions and provide answers. The site is a wiki, which basically means that we are all answering each other's questions as a community.
People that come across answers they are able to answer. You could answer questions.
Some of them, but we won't help you cheat because that's wrong and can get you suspended or expelled. The best way to get answers is to check the search engine first, then come here if you have a really tough problem that you have time to wait for an answer - this site is designed for those sort of questions that you can't find on a search engine.
