News flash: when it comes to dating, guys like to chase the women they find attractive. It's the thrill of the hunt. It sounds backwards and sexist, but it's true, and if you want to learn to navigate the world of men, you'd do best to learn the Secrets of the Boys Club. Here are a few to keep in mind:

He Likes it When You Are Your Own Woman. Dependency is not sexy. There's no need to rub it in his face, but make sure that he knows that you would be perfectly fine without him. Show, don't tell him-- display your confidence and individuality even after the two of you get into a relationship.

He Loves It When You Are Confident. Insecurity is a huge turn-off. The hottest women are the ones who look good and know it.

He Hates It When You Call Him. When you first start dating a guy, take your mother's old-fashioned advice and don't call him. If he is thinking about you, he'll call you, and if you beat him to the punch you'll ruin the thrill of the chase.

To Make Him Stick Around, Make Him Wait. If you give it all away on the first date, he'll lose interest. As tempting as it may be, move slowly when it comes to physical stuff. Need a clearer rule? Don't sleep with him until three months into the relationship.

He Secretly Loves It When You Are Unavailable. If he asks you out, tell him that you're busy that night (whenever it is) and suggest another night, unless he calls you more than three days in advance. You can't change whether he calls or not but you can change how YOU react. Obviously you like this guy, but do you really want someone who tells you one thing and does another? Do you really want someone who makes you wait for him to call you?

You've been given a gift here. You've found out very early on that this guy isn't as in to you as he should be. Take that gift and be thankful for it. There are other guys who will fall all over you and actually call when they say they will. Consider the situation with THIS guy HIS loss and stop dwelling on him

Ok take it from a guy...DO NOT listen to that lady who posted that crap about the boys club. Im not a player and I don't cheat on my g/f if I have one. This is what I look for in a girl. First off if I ask you out on a date and you say no I cant and theres a good reason why, that's ok. BUT if I ask you out and you say no just for the sake of it and your not busy or you'd rather go out with your friends, that just tells me you could careless if you see me or not an that doesnt go far with me. I prolly wouldn't ask u out anymore after that. Second If I meet a girl and she doesnt call or text me on a regular basis the first thing im going to think is...she has other guys talking to her (player, slut) or she just doesnt care enough to call me. If you like someone let them know the more you see an talk to each other the closer you get. An Finally I agree with that girl on one thing....don't give it up on the 1st date or the 1st week. Most guys will think your an easy piece of pun tang. At least wait a month til you guys do the dirty. I mean during the month wait you can make out and let him play stink finger along with waxing his carrot. After you've had sex with him he'll keep coming back for more as long as its good cuz theres many positions an it doesnt get boring. Only jerks hit it and quit it. As for him not calling after he said he likes u well I hate to be the barrer of bad news but he prolly found another girl.
