tell me the answer
A nonliving specimen refers to something that was never alive, like a rock or a chair. A specimen that is considered dead was once living but has now ceased all life processes.
If an organism is no longer growing, moving, responding to stimuli, or carrying out metabolic processes, it is likely dead. Signs of decomposition, such as changes in color, texture, or smell, also indicate that something was once alive. Differentiate between alive and dead organisms by observing their behavior, physical characteristics, and overall condition.
Abiotic refers to factors in an ecosystem that are not living, such as sunlight or soil nutrients, while dead refers to something that was once alive but is no longer living. Dead organisms can still interact with abiotic factors in an ecosystem.
Dead things are those who were once alive. Nonliving thing were never alive (ex. rock, viruses...) Living things are made up of units called cells, reproduce, are based on a universal genetic code (DNA & RNA), grow and develop, obtain and use materials and energy, respond to the environment, maintain a stable internal environmet and taken as a group, living things change over time.
A dead tree may still appear to be alive due to remaining intact and standing upright even after it has died. However, the tree is no longer performing functions essential for life, such as transporting water and nutrients or photosynthesis. Without these processes, the tree is considered dead even if it maintains its structure.
Well, one was alive at some point, and the other wasn't.
inanimate objects were never alive dead objects were once alive.
Non living is dead and living is alive
"Live" is typically used as an adjective or verb to indicate that something is currently happening or in real-time, while "alive" is also an adjective but specifically refers to something that is living or not dead.

If something is dead, mankind does not know how to restore it to life.
Extinct means that there are no longer alive and completely dead, the whole species is dead and are no longer on earth alive. But threatened means that they are on the edge of being completely dead.
