50-1000 USD or so
As you have noted, this revolver is quite rare- they were withdrawn from production as the gun was breaking from the force of the .357 Magnum loads. For this reason, it is very difficult to price using comparable sales. A LNIB Lew Horton Boa would probably auction at between $8,000 and $10,000. In collectable guns, condition is everything and will heavily affect value. BTW, there were only 600 made in 4 inch- the other 6oo were 6 inch.
Dee Horton and Lew Hewitt invented the sliding automatic door in 1954 but the normal everyday ones... haven't a clue.
Lew Smith has written: 'Raiders of White Pine' 'The American dream' 'Rimrock raiders' 'Gun quick' 'Powdersmoke Canyon' 'Boothill Court'
The cast of Mark Dolphin - 1965 includes: Lew Ayres Robert Horton Shirley Knight Michael Rennie
Yes he can cause he is an idiot
If it's the .357 Lew Horton exclusive 8 shot with hogue grips and satin stainless finish it retailed around $1160. If it's the defensive model, 8 shot with aluminum case and 2 2/8 barrel, adjustable rear sights and unfluted cylinder introduced in 1999 it retailed for $1025. Current value will depend on the % of the gun and the original pieces still with the gun. Hope this helps.
There are no concrete results for an E. Horton, but there is a turn of the century painter named Etty Horton. She was a painter of landscape scenes during the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Lew Meehan's birth name is James Lew Meehan.
It is possible (not certain, possible) that yours may be one of 500 made as a special production for Lew Horton. It would be worth contacting Colt for more information. If so, rather rare pistol.
