try different headphones, if it happens ith all, then there is a fault within the connection of the iPod itelf, as far as i know this cant be replaced. You can however delete some files to stop the ipod automatically pausing itself when it thinks it has a loose connection, a bit off googling will show you how. nick
One cause of this problem is when you move you are pushing the jack too far into the socket. The solution is going to sound a bit weird but believe me it works. Put a tiny drop of super glue at the top of the phone jack about 0.5 mm. This stops the jack being pushed to far into the hole.
