I have my nipples pierced and everyone I asked said that it wouldn't hurt at all. Well it did! It was more than a little uncomfortable it hurt a lot! It was definitely worth the pain and I love my piercings but I have to be honest and say yes it hurt.
Properly done nipple piercing is not as bad as it is made out to be. Done by an experienced professional body piercer the piercing is quick and simple. You need to know that the piercer you are seeing has years of experience in performing these types of piercings. Yes they are momentarily intense but it comes down to mind set of the client and the right type of needle in the hands of an experienced professional body piercer. The wrong needle can make the whole experience one of extreme pain which is not necessary. So research your piercer and ask questions before you get that or any other piercing done.Jzuk
Do not let a person who doesn't know what there doing pierce your nipples. it is extremely uncomfortable especially with the wrong needle

I think that everyone is different when it comes to pain in piercings. I have 4 in one ear, 3 in another, my nose, my tongue, and my navel all pierced. For me getting the actual piercing done on my navel hurt the most, however my tongue hurt the most AFTER I had it pierced due to swelling. But I hear that the most painful are nipples or any kind of genitalia.
