They are pretty accurate, but she should wait a few days to a week and take another one. If she still hasn't had a regular period, she should go to a doctor. Stress can cause irregular periods. Good luck!
Hey there. I missed my period for a whole month and was 2 weeks late after that. I took the EPT test and 1 out of 2 came back positive. I went for a blood test today. From what I know the tests are accurate. The only way you will get a false reading is if you wait to long to read the test or if an evaporation line shows up. (an evaporation line is a faint colorless line that shows up if the test has been sitting to long. It some times can be read as a positive. so the only 100% sure way to know is wait a while then get a blood test.
Hope it helped.
Yes. It depnds on how soon the pregnancy test was done after a 'missed' period. The longer after the missed period, the more accurate the results. Some pregnancy tests are designed to detect pregnancy earliesrthan others. A blood test is the most accurate test for pregnancy.
for a most accurate result try a test on the day or after your period is missed
2 weeks or after the missed period.
nope..sometimes the pregnancy test can't detect...but if you wait until your missed period, they are more accurate. A blood test done at the doctors are very accurate.
Most of the newer test let you test as early as 5 days before your missed period. The closer to your missed period or even after will give you a more accurate answer
Taking a pregnancy test seven days before a missed period won't be accurate.
No. You should take the test about a week after your missed period for it to be compleatly accurate.
IT may,it depends on when your period it expected. It is more accurate to take the pregnancy test at the most,Five days before your missed period. It will be most accurate to take the pregnancy test the day before your missed period.
You can but the test will most likely be wrong. You need to wait at least 4 weeks after you have missed your period to get an accurate test.
The most accurate time to take a pregnancy test is 3 weeks after you had intercourse. Many HPTs claim to be accurate on the day of your missed period, but that is doubtful. If you wait a week after your missed period, you should get accurate and unambiguous readings.
Yes. Most tests claim 99% accuracy from the first day of your missed period and beyond.
pregnancy test is done if a woman missed her periods.
