You can't. But let's get a few things clear, since some "formerly gay" people claim they've gone straight.
First of all, some people who've only had gay sex may actually be bisexual, but have never acted on it. So when they do fall in love with a person of the opposite sex, they think they're "cured."
Second, some "cured" gay people have simply committed to celibacy. They're just not sexually active.
Third, some "cured" gay people have heterosexual intercourse, but in their heads they're having homosexual fantasies.
Because these people so hate themselves, they are heavily invested in claiming they've gone straight. But there's no real evidence that they have stopped being attracted to others of the same sex -- in the long run, the "cure" will fail.
The important things in a relationship are caring, mutual respect, trust -- things like that. The "Plumbing" is irrelevant.
Gay men already are normal, so there is nothing to "return" to. But if you are asking how many gay men change their sexual orientation, the answer is zero.
A) you cannot turn a truly gay person heterosexual. B) what is normal? C) are you a straight?
Gay men are normal, they're just not ordinary.
Many men that have a normal relationship with women also have relationships with men.
No. Sexual orientation is unchangeable. If you are gay, it is perfectly natural and normal, and there is no reason to change.
Nobody can "opt" to be gay. It is not possible to change sexual orientation.
There have been gay women and men since there have been women and men. WW 2 did not change that.
Homosexuals & Hetrosexuals are the same, it's just a different sexuality.
They don't. This is a myth.
"Gay men, in general, don't take testosterone. Back in the old days, when people thought they could change homosexuality, 'Doctors used to treat gay men with testosterone injections, until it became clear adult homosexuals don't have blood hormone levels that differ significantly from heterosexuals.'" What is the scientific fact of hormone levels of normal vs. deviant men?
Gay people already have normal lives, so there is nothing to "return" to. If you are asking how a person can change their sexual orientation, this cannot be done.
Gay men are already men.
