hey man you have to be straight forward with her. i don't mean to just tell it to her in a text and then go out with another girl you have to be gentle and be aware of her feelings that she may still have for you. don't try the whole i want to be just friends with her. she may think that you just don't feel it and she will wonder if she does want to be freinds with you. say it to her face (but not IN HER FACE) as kind as you can to show her that you are really being serious and you had the guts to say it to her. she will then have more respect for you and if you want you can be great friends.
