if you have truly forgotten your password and you have synced the iPod that's locked to an iTunes account on your computer when you plug in the device to the computer usb apple support will detect that your iPod is on a type of anti theft mode and will have you put in your itunes email password (the password that allows you to buy music and apps ect.)After apple confirms your itunes password it will unlock the iPod allowing you to reset or enable the ipods 4 digit screen security !!!
now if this is not your iPod and you don't have an account for itunes plug the locked iPod into the usb ( on the back of the iPod about a cm' underneath the gb's is an 11 digit serial no.)(retreve number)now log on to apple.com/support it will bring you up a step by step process to reset the iPod touch to the original settings when the iPod was updated to the right account!! hope it helps i know people who would pay to get these things unlocked and its that simple i talked to an iPod technical support guy who guided me through my first two locked iPod touches and now im pro !!! remember once you by an app if it gets deleted go to repurchace the app you have deleted or lost and it will do a free purchase
Plug in your iPod
Go to "My Computer"
Go to your iPod's drive (F for me)
Make sure you can see all hidden folders (If you aren't sure go to Tools, Folder Options, View Tab, and check Show)
After that click iPod_Control
Click the folder called "Device"
And then change it from _locked, to _unlocked :D
Hope this helped
Plug it into your computer with itunes on it.
There is no password for the ipod touch internet. There is a password for the internets on the ipod touches the internets that require a password are 2WIRE212, Craig, and LittleOak.
you can only put a password on a iPod Touch only. (in the ipod family)
you can restore it in itunes
in settings
its a wifi or network password
its the router password
you can change the apple id password but the ipod's passcode no!
There is no master password. You must have the password set for that iPod.
Go restore your iPod Touch
Each router's Wi-Fi password is specific to the router, not to the iPod Touch. There is no universal code for routers, either.
You will have to plug the iPod into iTunes and then Restore it from there.
