only thing i can find so far is to use blackberry desktop manager
(or your phones deskptop software) to export contacts
to your computer, them copy it to an sd card.
i was looking more for a way to do it solely on the phone itself,
since my blackberry has a sim card and an SD card.

There is no rule against it, but as postcards are intended for use while travelling, there is no designated space for a return address.
To change your address you can go to the USPS website and fill out the change of address form. You must have a credit card and an email address. If you do not have these you can fill out the form and print it out and take it to the post office. If your package has already been mailed you can contact the post office and ask them to hold it for you until you change your address.
The easiest (and safest) way - is to download them to a computer (via a USB cable) - then upload them to the new phone. Either that - or copy them to your existing SIM card - insert it into the new phone - and copy them to the new phone's memory.
I think you would have to do it all over again or put the SIM card back in the old phone and copy all text.
