In 1977 The Benjamin Rifle company purchased Sheridan air gun company. In 1992 Crosman purchased Benjamin. So now Crosman owns both Benjamin and Sheridan.
They will last for years. If you take care of them. Never use regular oil on them, only use Crosman pellgun oil or RWS air gun oil to lubricate them. Never use regular gun cleaning agents on the rifle it will eat away the O-Rings. If it's a pellet gun / Rifle never force it to shoot BB's. Hard BB's will destroy the rifling in the barrel. Never leave it cocked over night, it will weaken the spring. Take care of it and it will list a lifetime.

Should be marked on the barrel. If not, take it to a gunsmith.
To take apart the Gecado .25 caliber rifle, you will begin by making sure that the rifle is not loaded. Remove the retaining pin at the base of the barrel and remove the barrel.
The Crosman Owners Manual states to NEVER pump the pistol more than 10 time and at least 2 times to fire a BB out of the barrel.
It would take about 400 hits on the barrel
very carefully... :) Seriously, take it to a gunsmith. The barrel is probably pressed into the receiver and pinned.
You take it to a gunsmith who has the special tools needed to remove a barrel without damaging the gun.
