Because the amount of alcohol would have to be so high, as to not only remain present in the steam after evaporating in the air, but also high enough to have an effect on your BAC (Blood Alcohol Level) and actually intoxicate you.
A few things to Consider when attempting to get high off 'humidified Everclear' :
- HUGE Fire Hazard! one little match/spark or turning on the stove-top BAM House explodes!
- Although Vodka eye shots are all the rage, Alcohol and eyes actually DO NOT MIX! You will totally burn your eyes just being in the same room as the humidifier.
- Alcohol evaporates when heated, so in order to avoid the loss of alcohol you would have to breathe the steam into your mouth directly from the humidifier; The Hot steam will 100% burn your entire throat and F- up your lungs.
So this is pretty much a BAD IDEA.

Everclear and humidifier?
It would have to be a water vapor humidifier...and not a steam humidifier, the heat will give a liquid to gas reaction that separates the alcahol and water giving it less potency as it enters your lungs and bloodstream, also it could burn your lips from the heat it gives off....as opposed to water vapor wich use sonic waves to excite the liquid into vaper the exact same density as fog giving much less of a physical reaction, saving that reaction until it has entered your lungs to then be processed through your bloodstream... Drawbacks...the alcahol isn't being processed by your liver first and could be potentially dangerous, the buzz wouldn't last as long you would have to constantly be holding your head over a humidifier. I would say that it would have to burn your lungs a bit also

Skol is vodka. Everclear is grain alcohol which is technically about the same, but much, much stronger. Everclear is usually about 190 proof (95%) alcohol. Vodka is about 80 proof (40%) alcohol. Skol is better. Everclear can be dangerous because it is so strong. If people do not know what they are drinking, there is a potential for drunk driving incidents and accidents even after only one or two drinks. Be careful as a host and as a partaker.
