There has never been a report of a marijuana-induced seizure, however, that doesn't make it impossible. Typically, though, medical marijuana is used to counteract the effects of epilepsy, so if it could cause seizures, I would see that as kind of...counter-productive.

Yes. It is very effective in preventing seizures as well as lessening the negative side effects produced by prescription medications. For example, the insomnia (and lack of stopping seizures) caused by topomax.
