Marijuana has no medical use for seizures.
no
It may not cause seizures, but it can't be said to be any kind of treatment for them. Epilepsy has many forms and many causes and there is no single treatment that can be said to deal with it. As a general rule, marijuana and any kind of street drugs should be avoided.
It is my understanding that marijuana slows down the connection between your neurotransmitters. This is the reason why it can be helpful against epileptic seizures as when these seizures occur, your neurons are being transmitted in uncontrolled rapid bursts (needs confirmation).
Marijuana has been proven to help with many types of childhood seizures, even when some seizure medications are not helping. However, it must be properly administered under the care of a physician. When not legal in the child's state, many parents travel to a state where it is for treatment. Keep in mind, it does not help all childhood seizures. It is also not administered to children through smoke or food. Doing it in this way is not helping the child. The parents smoking marijuana is not a treatment for the child. It might actually be harmful if the parents are stoned while the child is having a seizure. If the parent wants to try using marijuana to treat the child's seizures, they need to go ahead and see a doctor that specializes in this area.
YES it can also kill the child
Marijuana is the best seizure medication in the world. Talk to your do for about dropping pointless meds that don't stop the seizures as well as cause negative side effects for medical marijuana which stops seizures with no negative side effects.
I've had seizures while combining Epilim and Marijuana... So I just smoke MJ and stopped taking my meds. Hopefully I will heal on my own. :) Oh, don't take any nicotine products as well. They trigger seizures in me.
There is no direct link between mold on marijuana and causing seizures. However, consuming moldy marijuana can lead to various health risks such as respiratory issues, allergic reactions, and infections. If someone experiences seizures after consuming moldy marijuana, it is recommended to seek medical attention.
