No Marijuana does not clog arteries. Smoked or ingested the THC is stored in fat cells and the only way that it could clog arteries is if the fat cells clog them which is not work of THC its the work of the fat cells. The largest study of the health effects of marijuana to date was done by Kaiser Permanente. They studied the health records of 65,000 patients over a number of years. They found no significant differences between the health histories of those who smoked pot versus those who did not smoke marijuana.

A layman's answer: No! It is well known that marijuana use raises heart rate. That being said, how can it be good for the heart? Like being found not guilty does not mean innocent, likewise, not being bad for the heart does not necessarily mean being good for the heart. Perhaps a different answer to a rephrased question.
