While wearing a latex condom can provide great protection from pregnancy by killing sperm, the latex itself has little to no effect on the sperm itself, be it pre or post ejaculation. Spermicide is what makes the condom effective in preventing pregnancy. The latex can act as a "container" or "casing" for the sperm to help prevent it from traveling to cause pregnancy but will not kill any sperm that may come out of it.

There is no clear evidence to suggest that latex itself kills sperm in pre-ejaculate. However, using latex condoms during sexual activity is recommended as an effective method of reducing the risk of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.
