The word love gets thrown around like a rag doll. Few really grasp what love is. Cheating shows no regard for the person who's being cheated on. Cheaters may swear it was a moment of weakness and it meant nothing. Trust me... it always mean something. It isn't fair to say a person does not love somebody because they cheated. Yet the disrespectful act brings about confusion and distrust in the relationship. It may become a chore to even be with the person after they cheat. With all things, there are consequences. If somebody is genuine in professing their love, they are not going to be likely to cheat. That is plain and simple enough to understand. I would suggest people who are with a person who cheated, just let them go. Unless you're prepared to deal with the mess they made of the relationship.
