Does getting your scaffold pierced hurt?

A little bit, but not a lot. It hurts a little more than your average because its 2 piercings in one.

My piercer but the needle in the top bit, and that was fine, just a little pin prick is what it felt like - but then after a couple of seconds your ear starts to feel really warm like hot. And then he pierces the second part which hurt a tad bit more - but all totally bearable.

He then but the barbell in, and that didnt hurt, but was kinda uncomfortable because my ear felt like it was on fire at this point.

Overall like 4/4.5 out of 10. Totally worth it cause it looks awesome.

*Make sure you keep it clean though! I used savlon B-) & also warm salt water - i didn't want to risk infection. And it takes quite a while to heal but not forever long.

Try not to sleep on it, and if you've got long hair try not to get it snaggled up in the barbell at the top. Also, as obvious as it is, be weary of banging it because that DOES hurt. Alot. And it will also delay healing process massively.

Infections are prone if you keep on touching it so don't, and always keep on top of cleaning it - even if you've passed the 2 month mark. It'll will take longer than that to heal fully.

Does it hurt?

Well all piercings involve some discomfort an minor split second pain. It comes down to your mind set, if you really want the piercing pain is not an option and should not deter you from getting what you want. Mind over matter, if you don't mind the pain doesn't matter.

Well you are getting two piercings in the ear cartilage at one sitting, it's not too bad. Keep in mind that sometimes it's better to go with two captive bead rings initially then get the barbell put in once the piercing is healed. This way if one piercing becomes problematic the other piercing won't be effected.
