There are many many things called Essence of Life but I took my chance with LEWENSESSENS (Essence of Life). As far as I can see has it not been tested on pregnant women. This is often the case with products like this. But it seems to be a mild laxative and they don't make you miscarry. You should however always consult your doctor when it comes to medication when you are pregnant.
