that is a 22 caliber made by harrison-richardson gun company-Gardner,Ma.-the firing pin hits the rim of the bullett, rather than the center.
With the exception of guns like the Thompson/Center, a single shot weapon that changes barrels, there are few .22 pistols that can EASILY converted to a larger caliber. The .22 is a rimfire, and firing pin is in the wrong place for a centerfire cartridge.
Numrich Arms probably has them, but this is an item any gunsmith should be able to manufacture.
To remove the bolt action and firing pin from a .22 caliber rifle barrel, first ensure the rifle is unloaded and the safety is engaged. Then, remove the action from the stock by unscrewing the action screws. Next, locate the bolt release mechanism, typically found near the rear of the receiver; press it to release the bolt from the receiver. Finally, disassemble the bolt by removing the firing pin retaining pin, allowing you to extract the firing pin from the bolt assembly. Always refer to the specific rifle's manual for detailed instructions.
No
All firearms that are in caliber .22 Long Rifle (LR) or 22 Long or 22 Short are rimfires. If you look at the face of the bolt, you can see the firing pin. If it is in the very center of the bolt face, it is center fire. If at the edge of the face, it is rimfire.
