Does a SIM card hold pictures?

No but it mite hav the contacts depending on wat phone u have, smartfones usually save contacts to the fone but older fones nd some flipfones save the contacts to the sim card.. Not pictures tho sry..

I have a digital camera that uses an SD sim card. I would assume then, that it holds them. I doubt though that I would fair well, being used in a sansa media player, with pictures on it.

No the sim card only stores contacts. The micro sd card stores the pictures and music and stuff.

It depends on the individual phone's settings. In most cases, they're stored on the handset's internal memory, and can be copied or moved to the SIM card by the user.
