No. Vuze might takes up too much memory, but it does not slow down your computer, at least when it is not running.
When you don't need to use Vuze, just close it, do not hang it there.
Computer slowdown can be due to lots of reasons:
* Bloated registry with errors
* Fragmented registry and hard disk
* Too many junk files take up the memory
* ......
Applications running is not the main reason. You'd better use a registry cleaner or system optimizer to do the above work. It should help!
