Sprint is not a GSM service provider, they use a CDMA network. Also Sprint is now Sprint/Nextel and although Nextel devices do use SIM cards they are not GSM devices either. Nextel uses an iDEN network and their SIM cards can only be used for International Roaming, they cannot be used on GSM networks in the United States. Unlocked Nextel devices cannot be used on a GSM network and unlocked GSM devices cannot be used on the Nextel network as the two are not even remotely compatible.
Samsung Rant is a CDMA phone, and right now, there is no unlocking for CDMA phones. Unlocking can only be done on GSM phones.
Sprint doesn't run on the same networking (GSM etc.) as sprint does so no. Well unless the i phone never comes out with one that is for the Sprint Network. It has in the past with other phones so it may happen in the future.
No you cannot. Although there are some phones that support CDMA aswell as GSM.
What "are" sprint phones? Sprint is a phone company like T-Mobile or AT&T the phones that they use have the sprint logo on them.
Sprint has its own websites for information on their products, contracts and more. Through this website information will be found for the Samsung cell phones.
No. Because Sprint is CDMA and T-Mobile is GSM. Sprint = No SIM. T-Mobile = SIM.
There are two types of cell phone networks, GSM and CDMA. As long as the network you are trying to move your unlocked phone to is compatible then yes it will work. In most cases a GSM phone will not work on a CDMA network and vise versa, however, some careers (such as Verizon) have support signals for GSM phones. There is no support for CDMA phones on a GSM network at this time. So for overall versatility, GSM phones are better.
u cannot flsh at&t or t-mobile phones to sprint. at&t & tmobile are gsm networks9using sim cards) & sprint are cdma. is like tryin to put a casette in a DVD player it wont work. only flash sprint, alltel,Verizon metro & other CDMA network phones. that's all
No, Sprint uses CDMA technology and AT&T uses GSM technology. Plus, the phones are flashed to each carriers cell towers.
No, because Sprint uses CDMA and AT&T use GSM. America is one of the few countries with a large CDMA presence, every where else uses GSM. Telstra, in Australia closed their CDMA network down, and replaced it with their Next G network, which is GSM.
AnswerYES !!! GSM Phones, CDMA Phones will work in India
Nope, Verizion and Sprint are CDMA signal providers. They do not use SIM card. GSM phones do such as AT&T and T-Mobile.
