More or less. Usually within 4-5 days from the last one. If you are just starting your period it takes about a year before it will settle down to a regular cycle. The same thing happens at menopause. It all has to do with hormones.

Because its period of rotation equals its period of revolution. A day on the moon is the same as a month on Earth thus the near side of the moon is what we always see and the far side is always farther away.

If your period is 26 days and the last period was 3 nov 2007 when is your next period?

If you mean that your last period started on the third then the next one would be due on the 29th IF it remains at a 26 day cycle. Cycles are not always exactly the same from month to month. Start counting the days from the first day of your period. Don't include the first day of the next one when it comes as that is day 1 of your next cycle.

Why is a day on the moon equal to a month on earth?

It really does not, but it is close to a month. The moon always faces the same way to the earth as it goes around the earth. So the Moon day is the same as its orbit around the Earth, Roughly 29 days.

Why is a day in the moon the same length as a year on earth?

A day on the Moon (about 29.5 Earth days) is the same length as a year on Earth (365.25 days) because of a phenomenon called synchronous rotation. The Moon's rotation period is the same as its orbit around Earth, causing one side of the Moon to always face Earth, leading to equal lengths of day and year.
