Do they use hand held shower heads overseas?

What hotels are you referring to and in what country. In eithe case most of the world use wall mounted showers. Hand held is seen as a luxury so only the high end hotel will have this as a feature.

Many hotels in European countries have bathtubs with detachable hand held shower heads. They also don't have doors or shower curtains like most showers in the United States. Of course some hotels do have standard shower heads.
