Some would and some wouldn't. The people that don't obviously don't care about how it affects other people. The people that do feel sad about being drunk after a couple of times have been told that they don't like how your treating yourself, and it makes them feel bad. Then making you feel worse. So yeah, people would get sad after being drunk a couple of times.

If you want to know how to tell if you are sad, do you feel a sinking feeling in your heart? that means you are sad. If you want to know how to talk to people about your sadness, then you could explain why you feel sad, and the steps you want to take to solve it.
When you feel sad about any situation, then you share the things to someone. Most of the time he/she give the right solution for you because they are more experienced in these kind of situations or they already sufferer! Generally, when you feel happy you probably don't want to overthink but when you feel sad then you'll overthink..sometimes these overthink shows the right path!
