Well let's see you stick a needle in the human body, yeah it hurts but only briefly and it's more like pulling out a nose hair, one quick twinge and it's done. Look it's really all in your head, piercing is the ability to look past the momentary discomfort to get something one has always wanted. Trust me I do it for a living.
