some gymnasts dot get periods because they don't have enough body fat. there period will be delayed until they have enough body fat

Yes they do. Although they are very active and the constant exercise they do does affect the developing rate, they still have periods. It varies very much in different people though. My friend, who is 15 is a serious gymnast who competes in lots of competitions, got her period when she was 12. Another friend who is also a serious gymnast is 14 now and hasn't started her period!

The exercise is good for it, usually makes it lighten up for a few hours at least, but take it easy if you have to, don't over exert yourself, your coach understands off-days.

yes its possible, my best friend does gymnastics and shes fine with it. as long as you wear a pad or something and change it often enough youll be fine xx
