It can happen but it is rare....Indian men are disadvantaged in India because of the sexual mores and overall repression of women. Foreign women especially in their respective foreign countries are much freer and their societies encourage freedoms (sexual activity) at a much younger age. Over 80% of teens in US have drunk by 15, over 80% have had sex by 15, 1/6 teens are pregnant (see Hoffman & Averett Woman & The Economy 2004. In India, women are required to wait until much later if not for marriage to start engaging in sexual activities..average age around 20. Porn is also illegal in India, prostiution is not an everyday thing, while if you visit foreign countries one can't tell the difference between the prostitutes and everyday girls. In other words: the whole society and culture is sexually overt and this is the opposite in India. Even style of dress is substantially different. You will not see as a norm in India women showing all of their legs consistently or wearing small skirts or low cut shirts; opposite in other countries. Ultimately, a very small % marry foreign in foreign countries out of choice (to pass on the traditions and religion in a homogenous setting) but it does happen on however miniscule basis.
