A Globe is a sphere (3D) and represents the whole Earth. A map is 2d like on paper and can represent the whole Earth, or just specific areas. This is what i have discovered.

I discovered that a map has a key and a globe does not. A globe shows the entire earth and a map shows a particular part of the earth. A globe spins and a map does not. A globe is made of hard material and can't fold while a map is made of paper and can fold.

A map is a 2D representation of the Earth's surface, while a globe is a 3D model. Maps can be easily folded and stored, but they can distort the sizes and shapes of land masses. Globes provide a more accurate representation of Earth's shape and relative sizes of continents and countries.

Which would be more helpful for studying the exact shapes of continents a globe or a map?

A globe would be more helpful for studying the exact shapes of continents, as it provides a more accurate representation of the Earth's curved surface compared to a flat map. This is because a globe shows the continents in their true spherical form, whereas a map distorts their shapes due to the projection used to flatten the Earth onto paper.
