The term virtual object refers to computer simulations of real objects; it could be described as a technological illusion. Reality, in comparision, is what it appears to be. Not only does it look like a chair (for example) but you can actually sit in it. Whereas, a real person does not sit in a virtual chair, although a virtual person can do so.

A real object exists physically in the physical world, such as a book or a table. A virtual object only exists digitally, such as a computer-generated image or a Virtual Reality simulation.

What is the difference between real and virtual image?

A real image is formed when light rays actually converge at a specific point, while a virtual image is formed when light rays appear to diverge from a point but do not actually pass through that point. Real images can be projected onto a screen, while virtual images cannot.

Can a concave mirror produce a virtual and real image?

Yes, a concave mirror can produce both virtual and real images. When the object is placed beyond the focal point, a real inverted image is formed. When the object is placed between the mirror and the focal point, a virtual upright image is produced.

An object located between a convex lens and its focal point forms a?

real and magnified virtual image on the same side as the object.

When does a convex lens forms a real or virtual image?

When object is within the focal distance then virtual image is formed. But when the object is placed beyond the focus of the covex lens ie if the distance of the object is more than focal length then real image is formed.

Can you Describe the images formed in a concave mirror?

In a concave mirror, images can be real or virtual depending on the object's position relative to the mirror. Real images are formed when the object is located beyond the mirror's focal point, while virtual images are formed when the object is located between the mirror and its focal point. Real images are inverted and can be projected onto a screen, while virtual images are upright and cannot be projected.
