I have read several comprehensive biographies on the British Royal Family, particularly those involving Queen Elizabeth II and the late Diana, Princess of Wales. According to my research, The Queen has never suffered a miscarriage - or any other pregnancy - between the births of her second child (The Princess Royal in 1950) and her third child (The Duke of York in 1960). If you check on the official website of the royal family, you'll find an extensive timeline of The Queen's official visits - as she was under the age of 30 at the time - and see that she was often away from home on official business.
Much speculation was made concerning the fact that there is a 10-year span between the births of her second child and her third, however, there is no concrete evidence that supports that The Queen endured a miscarriage at any point during her marriage - which I might add, is a true testament to the enduring love that she shares with her ever-faithful husband and consort.
Besides, if such a universally-renowned woman as The Queen were to have had some difficulties in her pregnancy, surely this would be common knowledge now, some nearly 60-years after the fact. You can look at the lives of atleast 3 other high-profile women of her era who suffered miscarriages/stillbirths and the public was made aware of them (either intentionally or unintentionally): Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, wife of President John F. Kennedy (during her 10 year marriage (1953-63), she suffered 2 miscarriages, a stillborn daughter and a son who died after 4 days); Grace Kelly, Oscar-winning American film actress-turned-wife of Prince Rainier III of Monaco (during the first half of her 26 year marriage, she suffered 3 miscarriages as well as clinical depression and even a nervous breakdown); Marilyn Monroe, American film actress (during her 3 marriages, she suffered 3 miscarriages and perhaps also endured Bipolar disorder).
That said, we can deduce that with all probability that Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has endured many things (the death of her parents and sibling, the misfortunes of her children and their progeny), however, she has not endured the loss of a pregnancy/child.
Queen Elizabeth II Stakes was created in 1955.

It depends on the denomination and condition of the coin. "Elizabeth II Regina" means "Elizabeth the Second, Queen", and "South Africa Suid-Afrika" is simply the name of the country, first in English and then in Afrikaans. All coins issued in South Africa in 1955 had both phrases ("Elizabeth II Regina" and "South Africa Suid-Afrika") on them.
