Lumps and Bumps and Infections can happen to any piercing as well as allergic reactions to cleaning agents and jewellery. Photos of infected piercings serves no purpose because each problem is governed by a unique groups of circumstances causing the end result.

Lumps are reactions to the method used to conduct the piercing with ear cartilage (usually a piercing gun or poor piercer skill set "some times called free hand piercing"). Lip infections are due to poor jewellery selection, placement and ultimately user error (poor aftercare).

Nostril piercing issues are generally after care solution or cleaning product used or over used causing lumps or bumps to form next to the piercing ( Hypertrophic reaction). Conch piercing issues are generally always poor cleaning method or lack of cleaning leading to swelling and discomfort.

At the end of the day it comes down to poor after care and the lack of common sense on the part of the client ( this isn't intended to annoy anyone but more to get your attention ). Client's need to question the piercer and the aftercare, it needs to make sense, if it doesn't ask questions and get answers. Do your research before you jump in getting a piercing.
