you normally don't have your period (bright red, and follows the light, heavy, light pattern) but in early pregnancy women will have light brown/pink spotting during the time there period is due and unless they are trying to get pregnant, they don't always think anything of it, except that it is a little lighter this month.

The off and on pill schedule you followed was very confusing, but it seems the bottom line was you were off of it for 2 weeks and had sex. The method you used of withdrawing doesn't work ( sperm escape during sex) so you could be pregnant. The symptoms you describe could be PMS because of the way you messed up your cycle. I would suggest a home pregnancy test in the next few weeks if you don't have a period.
