Other than stealing their phone, the easiest way to know what someone else has been texting would be to be the account holder, have access to the account holder's online password to their carrier website (ATT, TMobile, Sprint online, etc), log in to the online account and view a transcript of all sent and received text messages, provided they have an online account. Such is not as easy for a prepaid cell phone.
When on the 'Inbox' page on your left there are three tabs: -Messages -Updates -Sent Click on 'Sent'.
There are two tabs for messages. Click on your normal tab and then look just behind it for 'other'. Normally this is where people can send you messages who aren't in your friends list or those who you haven't contacted can leave a message. You can choose to view and accept any messages or not.
yes if you request it

If the phone is registered in your name, and you'repaying the bill - get a copy of the bill. If the phone is in her name and she's paying the bill in her own right, you have no legal right to see who she's contacting unless it's by court order.

How do I get my pictures off my cell phone?
If the messages are saved on the memory of the phone itself, you can still view your old messages. Some carriers allow you to save your data on an internet-based cloud.
You should have a number or website that you can check your prepaid card balance. It also depends on what prepaid card you have. For example, if you have a Prepaid Visa card, you can opt to have your balance sent to your cell phone or e-mail address. If you don't have a prepaid Visa, then I'd suggest checking the back of your card for a phone number or website you could visit to view your balance. Hope this helps!
Well I have a basic phone a Nokia 2730. My brother sent me large picture messages (Multimedia) from his expensive new phone. For me to view them on my phone, I had to (in the message) go into: Options > Show contents > Open To view them.

There are sites out there (for parents) that allow them to look at texts sent from the childs phone to another phone. There is also one that allows that AND you can check your facebook messages...but it requires you to download a third party app.
You cannot view the actual messages online. All you can view online is the date/time they were sent/received and the phone number they were sent to/from.
The LG Esteem has the capacity for accepting a micro SD memory card. insert a memory card into the original phone, copy or move the text messages onto the card, transfer the card to the new phone and your text messages will be available to view on the new handset !
