To install Plone on GoDaddy shared hosting server, you would first need to check and ensure that Plone's software requirements are supported on GoDaddy's hosting environment. As Plone is typically run on a Python-based content management system, you may need a VPS or dedicated server for proper installation and configuration. It's recommended to consult with GoDaddy's support team or consider alternative hosting options if your needs cannot be met on their shared hosting plans.

There is an excellent tutorial about how to create a back up shell script for your Godaddy account. Simply use the script, upload it to your site and access your CRON manager in the Godaddy Hosting Control Panel. From there, you can tell it at what frequency to back up, at what time and so on. The script is tested and proven to work with Godaddy's CRON manager. The tutorial is here: http://www.fortasse.com/2010/01/tutorials/tutorial-automatic-backup-script/

you have to talk to your hosting provider about this stuff. I have encountered the same problem with my hosting provider, good thing they had great chat support we configured the ip's live on chat If you have a 'shared' hosting, then your website will have an IP address which is shared with other websites. If you have a good hosting provider they may give you a separate IP address. If you have a dedicated hosting (not virtual hosting), then your website should have a unique IP address. Just ping your URL to find out what the IP address is.
