No, you can't use your debit card if it expired three days ago. Once your debit card has gone past its expiration date, it will be rejected if you try to use it. You are usually sent a new card about a month before the old one is due to expire, which is dated so it can be used immediately (instead of waiting until the old one has expired).
The merchant agreements that they have with the credit card companies generally prohibit them from charging extra for the use of the credit card. However, some places offer a "discount" for cash, which works out to essentially the same thing, and while it's becoming less common than it was a few years ago, some merchants do charge a "transaction fee" for using a debit card (they are required to notify you of this; the notification generally takes the form of a sign or sticker on the unit you swipe your card through).
Anyplace that your mother used her card could be a suspect place. anyone from the clerk at the store to a waitress could get the card information and use it. there are several ways it happens from just writing down the card number to scanning the card and duplicating it. the latter is more complex and unlikely, but not to be dismissed. more than likely I would look at a restaurant for a rouge waitress/waiter. The restaurant's to watch are the ones where you have to actually give them your credit or debit card. It is best to ask the waiter/waitress if you can go to their register, especially if the staff person is someone your not use too. hope this helps. Sgt. Kipper Thomas Gulfport, MS More answer from someone else: Perhaps the "Carter Phillips Affiliate Network" based in Stockport could help answer your question.
Credit card interest rates often depend on previous credit rating and type of purchases. A basic card that is used for purchases online or at stores has an interest rate currently of approximately 11%. Five years ago in 2008, the average interest rate was 13%.
No, regardless of the state of residency, the SOL for a lawsuit would have expired by now. This does not mean that another collection agency could not renew collection attempts at some future time, but they would not be able to employ a legal "cure and remand" process.
Yes because he is responsible for the debt, not you.
No, this program expired over 10 years ago.
You generally cannot use expired coupons, but stores might have different policies. You can always ask the store whether or not they will accept it.
Well if you say its expired, I highly recommend you throw it away. I'm not sure if its possible to mold. If it was just like 5 days ago when it went expired then its probably still usable.
yes, bout a month???
It could be correct in the right context: "The time for returning this library book without a fine has been expired for two days", although it would be more idiomatic to substitute "The time for returning this library book without a fine expired two days ago".
A check that is older than 90 days (or 180 days depending on the Country) is considered a stale or expired check. It is worthless and carries no value. You cannot cash such a check. Since the check is expired, the check issuing bank will not pay for it. So, you cannot cash a check that is 210 days old.
They're not. Hence EXPIRED. Go see your doctor.
Expired medication can be ineffective and dangerous.
Supposedly it expired decades ago...
Well....we drank vinegar that expired 3 years ago...and we haven't died yet. so....pray.
The owner of the car gets the ticket. I just got a ticket two days ago while driving my mothers car that had an expired registration sticker. The ticket was for $50. It did however list me as the operator on the ticket.
It should be safe on a secure site, but it is always best to use a credit card. If there are any fraudulent charges you can dispute them and get them reversed. With a debit card you are on your own, and once they have your information they can wipe out your checking account. I had $2500 in fraudulent credit card charges reversed in Jamaica a couple years ago. I would have been in big trouble if they got my debit card info.
