You can not set a whole song as your iPhone ringtone because iPhone ringtone is up to 30 seconds long.If you really like a song and want to set it as your ringtone, you can buy it from iTunes store for $0.99 or you can also make ringtones by yourself. For mac users, you can use iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac..There are two ways: 1. Simply go to the iTunes store and there, you can purchase ringtones for 99p (in the UK, not sure about in the USA) and it will appear in the 'Ringtones' section in your Library2. For custom ringtones, if it is in MP3 format, convert it into AAC, open up finder/windows explorer then change the extension from .m4a/.aac to .m4r, then reopen it with iTunes and it'll be recognised as a ringtone.More is available at the related links belowTo create ringtones for the iPhone, you can use many songs available for purchase at the iTunes store. On a Mac computer, you can also use the Garage Band application to create custom ringtones from any song you can play in iTunes. The easiest way is to use iTunes to clip the song. There are other software programs that can do this too. Without altering the iPhone, you pretty much have to use iTunes to do this.Well, normally you can buy the song from iTunes store and then pay another $0.99 to make it as your ringtone. If you are a Mac user you can try some 3-party software like, Garageband, Wonderahre iPhone Ringtone Maker for Mac, which can make custom iPhone ringtone for free. You can get more from the related links below. All you have to do is go to your itunes library pick the song and itll give you options but make sure ur iPhone is plugged in to the computer. First off the crossover has a ringtone size limit so you won't be able to use the entire song as a ringtone using the included applications... I used a free app called "Mp3 music download" that I downloaded and installed from the market.. this app will allow you to search and download almost any song and also locate every song you already have on your phone, but once you located the song you want to use as a ring tone ther is an option called "set as" which gives you the option to save or set the song either as a ring tone, Notification, Alarm..... but once you have done this to every song you want as a tone then exit that app go into the phones settings menu, sound, phone ringtone then scroll through the list and find the song you want & select as your default ringtone to use
Most phones have the ability to use downloaded music as their ringtone. So long as the music is in a format the phone can use, it should be a simple procedure.
Im not so sure... but i think.
play the song and go option>use tone> as ringing tone. DONE
One could check the app store on their phone for music to use as a ringtone. Once one finds the song they want, it's as simple as downloading it and setting it as your ringtone.
