There are some that you can take up to seven days before your period - HOWEVER, accuracy improves the closer you get to the time of your normal period. At seven days prior, only 53% of pregnant women test positive. Also, a blood test works a week after supposed conception. If you can't afford to go to the doctor or are on your parents' insurance, go to a crisis pregnancy center. You'll be able to get a free or reduced-price blood test.
