It depends on the type of pregnancy test you are using. There are some that you can take up to seven days before your period - HOWEVER, accuracy improves the closer you get to the time of your normal period. At seven days prior, only 53% of pregnant women test positive. Also, a blood test works a week after supposed conception. If you can't afford to go to the doctor or are on your parents' insurance, go to a crisis pregnancy center. You'll be able to get a free or reduced-price blood test.
no
A pregnancy test can test positive 2 days before you are supposed to have your period however, you will have a low amount of HCG (the hormone the test identifies) at that time and you still may be pregnant even with a negative est. It is best to wait a few days after your missed period and then test with the first urination of the day.
yes. i got a positive test the day my period was due, however it was faint. some tests can show a positive result as early as 5 days before your missed period.
99.8% of the time having a period means you are not pregnant, so No, you don't test positive.
No, you do not test positive as the drugs are being released from your system
Yes
yes
You're not pregnant?
The same thing happened to me....Im so upset! I'm going to schedule me an appointment for a blood test. I took another test today after bleeding for three days and still had a light positive line so maybe just maybe I will be lucky enough to still be pregnant! Before the bleeding I had 3 positive test. Good luck to you!
yes
If the test showed a clear positive, it is very likely you are indeed pregnant, you should see a qualified medical practitioner for confirmation and advice.
I think you mean can a hpt be positive 5 days before your period is due??? In that case yes it can come back positive as your hormones (hcg) can be strong enough to show but not always its beat to teeth the day you should get your period or that day after
